Mary Gargiulo (the owner) has been cutting my hair for more than 20 years. When I first started to see Mary for haircuts I lived a few miles from her salon, since then she has opened Details in Springfield, over 20 miles away. I travel to Mary because of my faith in her haircuts and coloring. Over the years I have gone to Mary with a picture of a haircut and said please give me this cut exactly and she did. Other times, I have gone in and said I just don't know what I want and put it in her capable hands. Either way I have always been happy. Mary's best skill is her coloring, no body gets it the way she does! I have always been happy and for me that is enough to keep me driving the 20 miles for every cut!
From the moment I entered Details Salon I felt right at home. The staff was very welcoming and the decor of the salon, inviting and warm. I made my first appointment to get color and a cut by the owner, Mary, after a wonderful recommendation, and a facial with their esthetician, Millie. I only had to give a quick explanation of what I was looking for in way of color and style and Mary was able to bring new life to my previously dull looking hair. I've had a number of facials, but Millie's was so relaxing. It wasn't too harsh on my skin at all and when finished, my skin felt so fresh and rejuvenated.
Such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Can't wait to go back!
I love Details Salon! They do a great job with haircuts, highlights, and color, and are very reasonably priced. It's a beautiful, well kept space and the staff is always so pleasant and helpful. Highly recommend!
I have been going to Details for years to get my hair cut and colored. So when I got engaged I knew who I wanted to do my hair and makeup for my wedding. The entire team did an amazing job on me and my bridesmaids. From the moment we arrived we felt completely taken care of. They provided coffee, tea and breakfast for all of us. Dana and Kim did a stunning job on my hair and makeup. It lasted from 10 that morning until after midnight and withstood hours of dancing! I would highly recommend Details to anyone looking for a salon to do their hair and makeup for their wedding.
