Christmas evening arrived to an unaccommodating front desk lady. Although she put on her best customer service face she would not have a basic conversation with us about room rates, etc. After an exaggerated checking in period, when asked for a bottle of water (there were several cases behind the front desk attendant), she informed us that they were only for Platinum members. Merry Christmas!
Location was convenient. 5 min drive to mostly any food you can want, some locations are walkable. Room was clean and had the usual amenities. Little strange having the bathroom door one of those sliding track type doors. I don't understand why these newer hotels aren't putting normal doors on bathrooms! Nobody wants the smells or steam from the bathroom to enter the room! No glassware in the room either and the paper cups were flimsy and leaked after a few drinks. Breakfast was pretty good but not worth 15 bucks. The ihop down the road had a better selection and was half the price. Overall, not bad for the price.
This hotel appeared to be brand new - everything was really clean and modern. The room had a comfortable bed, coffee maker, microwave, and large modern bathroom. The staff was very friendly even though they had to work on Christmas, and we got water and chocolates at check-in. There's plenty of free parking, an optional breakfast, a small convenient store section near the front desk, a large board room for meetings, and a pool. The views from the rooms are mostly of RT 22 but that's expected.
I really just ate there, and the food was good, varied and very reasonable. ..not expensive like some hotels. I had 1/2 rack of ribs. It was good & enough. My friend who was staying there liked it & she's particular about her accommodations.
This would be a 5 star review but I haven't eaten in the restaurant. The only reason I have is because coworkers have strongly advised against it. Messed up orders with mediocre food per 3 sources. Otherwise it's a great new comfortable clean hotel I've really enjoyed.
